Listed here will be the current comics on special here at MJ Comics. Please note that the following applies to purchases from the Bargain Bins:

Condition

The condition of issues in the Bargain Bins are guaranteed to be at least Fine / Very Fine unless otherwise stated. Many of the issues will be above this level. Comics are graded using standard Overstreet Grading guidelines. The majority of comics sold online (especially eBay) these days are often over-graded (NM is used in so many instances where it shouldn’t be) however we grade as per guidelines so a F/VF comic (which may sound like a lesser grade) is still an extremely nice comic.

To help, the strict definition of a Fine/Very Fine comic is as follows:

“7.0 FINE/VERY FINE (FN/VF): An above-average copy that shows minor wear but is still relatively flat and clean with outstanding eye appeal. A small accumulation of minor bindery/printing defects is allowed. Minor cover wear beginning to show, possibly including minor creases. Corners may be blunted. Inks are generally bright with a moderate reduction in reflectivity. Stamped or inked arrival dates may be present. Minor foxing. The slightest spine roll may be present, as well as a possible moderate color break. Staples may show some discoloration. Slight staple tears and a small accumulation of light stress lines may be present. Slight rust migration. Paper is cream to tan. Centerfold is mostly secure. Minor interior tears at the margin may be present.”

As noted, comics in the Bargain Bins will be at least this grade or higher.
